Back From Hiatus

Santiago, Chile & Montevideo, Uruguay – June to July 2015

After having some great adventures but no computer access for two months, I regain computer access and set out to write again.

Hola, amigos. I know it’s been a long time since I rapped at ya, but I’ve had a lot of stuff goin’ down. But no more.

I guess this is just a long way of saying that I’ll be posting more stories again. My previous goal was to post two per week… then I had things come up at work which made it very hard to use the computer there. Then my girlfriend’s computer broke and I couldn’t use that anymore. So I stopped writing.

Between then and now, I: quit my job, celebrated one year abroad, started a new and better job with a dog that rides a skateboard, found a travel hack around the 90-day stay limit in Chile, attended the Copa America, witnessed some great protests and celebrations, and explored Uruguay for a week. But those are other stories and shall be told at other times.

Did I mention that the dog at my new hostel rides a skateboard? I bet your dog doesn’t ride a skateboard.

Back to the computer problems. I broke down and bought a cheap computer, plus my girlfriend got her computer fixed, meaning my stories should come out the next couple weeks like water comes out of a hose that had been kinked. I’ll soon have the stories listed above, plus more from Israel, Palestine, Spain, and Lebanon.

Stay tuned?

Control is back in my hands now — Punta del Este, Uruguay

  1. Looking forward to hearing more – I also just spent a week in Uruguay!
If you have time check out my blog ( I have a feeling you’ll be familiar with some of the posts!
    Keep it up 🙂
