Guest Column: Torn

This comes from Marieke, a talented writer and volunteer on Lesvos island that I had the pleasure to work with. Marieke still works on the island and offers a unique perspective on the refugee crisis, pulling all of her stories from the experiences of refugees.
She is one of the major inspirations for my upcoming book Guerrilla Aid.
